Welcome to Caroline By The Sea!

My name is Caroline and I’m so happy to meet you.

You’ve come to the right place if you’re all about DIY and home decor.

You’re also in the right place if you like family apple-fritter pancake nights (‘cos we can have pancakes for dinner too, right?!), quaint soy candles, taming the  clutter, a good book, or escaping to the Great Outdoors in a camper.

Together with my husband, we’ve completed several projects in our spec home to create fresh, calm spaces.

A Peaceful Place

You could say we’re a couple of serial home DIYers, enthusiastic up-cyclers of old stuff, and tellers of family travel tales.

One lesson we’ve learned? You don’t have to spend a fortune to make your home a comfortable, peaceful place.

We also love to travel, so every chance we get, we set off with our kids in the travel-trailer to experience nature in the wilds of Florida.
